About Me

I was always a what-if kid. It drove my mom crazy.

What if we could taste colour? What if I could switch places with a monkey? (One of my sister’s friends actually had a pet monkey – true story). What if I fell off the edge of the earth, would I fall infinitely? What if I could find a job that would let me explore all the what-ifs I ever wanted? So I set out to make that a reality.

Before heading out into the real world, I got my Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in English at the University of Western in London, Ontario. When I became passionate about advertising, I enrolled in the Creative Advertising program at Seneca College, School of Communication Arts.

Interning at RedRhino in London, Ontario opened the first door for me. Then in 2006, an opportunity at FCB moved me to Toronto, where I jumped from intern, to junior, to intermediate copywriter, working alongside some pretty amazing people on a variety of creative campaigns and projects.

After 7+ years freelancing at various agencies across the city, I made some stops along the way to take on full-time senior copywriter roles, most recently at Angry Butterfly.

I’m always up for a creative challenge and looking for new short-term or long-term opportunities to work with wonderfully talented humans. These are just some of the agencies and clients I’ve had the pleasure of working with up until now.
